Alan George Oko Dodoo

George is a Founding Partner of Dodoo & Partners, bringing a wealth of experience from both in-house legal departments and private practice

Prior to co-founding the firm, he served as the Head of Operations, Legal & Compliance at the African Collaborating Centre for Pharmacovigilance and Surveillance. In that role, he developed a strong foundation in healthcare ethics, regulatory compliance, and pharmacovigilance law across Ghana and the broader African region. George has extensive experience advising non-profit organisations, particularly in navigating complex compliance frameworks and governance structures. His practice is grounded in meticulous due diligence, particularly in the pharmacovigilance and healthcare sectors, as well as in other regulated industries. He is known for his meticulous analytical thinking and structured approach to problem-solving, which enables him to break down complex legal challenges into manageable, strategic solutions. Whether advising clients on nuanced regulatory matters or navigating multifaceted disputes, George consistently applies clarity, precision, and sound judgment to achieve effective outcomes. In addition to his regulatory and advisory expertise, George is well-versed in debt recovery, labour and employment law, and general dispute resolution. He maintains a strong interest in criminal litigation, oil and gas, energy, and family law, and continues to expand his practice in these areas. George holds an LLB from the University of Ghana and a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
